Herbert (Zeppo) Marx was born February 25, 1901 in New York City. He joined the Marxes on stage in 1918, also appearing in the five films the Brothers made for Paramount. After "Duck Soup", he left the act.
Zeppo Marx died of lung cancer on November 30, 1979, the last surviving Marx brother.
